The ute packs a lively LS1 V8, decked out with new performance and dress-up parts from the likes of Pacemaker Headers, VCM Performance & Lowe Fabrications. The ute has been tuned by MPW Performance & Fabrication and makes over 370hp on the hub dyno.

The LS1 is backed by TH350 automatic, 4000rpm converter and a IRS 9-inch diff. Getting the VU low to the deck when parked up are a set of Air Ride air struts, with improved brakes by Hoppers Stoppers.

Inside, we’ve restored the ute’s custom interior and added the latest Haltech uC-10 dash.
In short, VUFORU is a pitch-perfect restoration that captures everything that was magic about the scene in the early 2000s.
